Quick Tips For Mobile Editing

Editing photos on your phone doesn’t have to be complicated or time consuming. With a few simple tips, you can quickly and easily edit photos on your phone to give them that professional look.

The first thing to do is find a photo editing app that works for you. There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to photo editing apps, so it’s important to find one that offers the features that you need. Whether you prefer a basic, user-friendly app or something more advanced, make sure to read reviews before downloading it.

My favourite go to Apps are :

  • Adobe Lightroom
  • LD

Next, take advantage of the editing tools and features offered by your photo editing app. This includes cropping, adjusting color, and adding effects or filters. You can quickly and easily enhance your photos by using these tools to adjust saturation and contrast or blur the background of a photo.

Remember that less is more when it comes to editing photos. Don’t be tempted to go overboard with too many filters and effects otherwise it will look artificial. Instead, focus on enhancing the existing features of your photo to bring out its best features.

Finally, save your photo with the highest resolution possible for the best results. This will ensure that the details in your photo remain clear and sharp when you share it online.

By following these simple tips, you can quickly and easily edit photos on your phone for professional-looking results. With the right photo-editing app and a bit of practice, you’ll be surprised at what you can achieve with just a few taps of your screen.

Here is my process for the photo above

I upload my photo into the Lightroom App and apply one of my pre saved presets. Sometimes its a perfect fit but usually not. So I pick the best base and then tweak from there.

I start in the top panel and work my way through the panels. Starting first with white balance, exposure, tint, tone, lights and shadows.

Then I tweak any colours that might need it and De noise if necessary. There is a lot more than can be done here depending on how much you have saved already in your preset. Playing with the tone curve and adding an S shape can give a nice effect to the contrast and lighting.

After Im happy with the lighting and color, I go to the healing tab and remove any distracting unwanted items. Last, I add any masks I may need to give a more dramatic look to the light. Then I export the photo to share it.

Then I drop the image in the LD App and add a sun flare, cloud or fog if its needed. Again, be careful not to overdue this and make it look very fake. Less is more.
